I recently gave a talk on the work of Jimmy Merris and Richard Slee at Studio Voltaire. The first talk (about Merris) was delivered from a wheel barrow. The second (about Slee) was not.

GALLERY: Jo Spence: WORK (Part I)

A major retrospective of celebrated British photographer Jo Spence (1934 - 1992). Spread over two venues (SPACE and Studio Voltaire), the exhibition will explore Spence's engagement with key issues including collaboration, representation and health.

ANNEXE: Aleksandra Domanović - Turbo Sculpture

‘Turbo sculpture’ refers to the depiction of popular non-national media celebrities in public sculpture projects across the former Yugoslavian nations. In her first solo exhibition in a British institution, Domanović engages this phenomenon through a new video based installation that includes works by Michael Blum and Paolo Chiasera.

LIBRARY: Going to the Dogs: a play by Wim T. Schippers

Linked both to Fluxus and Dutch Dada, Wim T. Schippers’ project of provocation and farce is explored through his 1986 play Going to the Dogs (written by the artist to be performed exclusively by six Alasatian dogs).
